Today is Black Friday and you would expect virtually every business to take advantage of the shopping craze by offering discount to entice people to spend their money. A lot of people wait until this date to spend too. However, there was one business that sold face creams that my mom asked me to keep an eye out for as those things are usually expensive and a sale would be a nice time to stock up. As it turns out, they didn’t have anything for today and just treated it as a regular day.
Now granted they are a small business that caters to a more niche audience. So in that sense having a huge sale won’t likely attract a lot of new customers versus people who already shop with them. It makes you wonder if you should have something though as a way to at least put yourself on the radar for people to talk about. The company could technically use it as a way to undercut a bigger brand price wise to introduce themselves to new people.
Even a lot of fast food restaurants have a Black Friday sale for the sake of being a part of the whole event. I would be inclined to do something even if it isn’t an earth shattering deal.
