A lot of companies usually assign a specific type of person to be the face of the company as it is often the best way to portray a specific type of personality and likeness to target a specific audience. While that is usually done with a positive approach, there ae those times where businesses assign intimidating people to be the face of their company in meetings in hopes to come out ahead during aggressive negotiations.
Why I was thinking that as recently in Canada it seems like politicians have been releasing speeches about threatening the US with counter tariffs and for the most part a lot of them didn’t even seem intimating or powerful at all due to the people speaking and their usual mannerism. It probably made people look weaker actually as a result.
Something to keep in mind if you are ever starting a business as who you designate to be the face of the company can be the difference between people taking you seriously versus unfortunately pre-judging you based on that.
