This was crazy I thought as the AI platform Grok 3 was released and apparently it can write programs pretty fast where people were creating video games with it. This is usually a fairly tedious process of using programming languages. However, I put it to the test to see if it could create me a simple web browser game. I just told the program “I want you to create me the game pong that can be played on the web browser in html.” Sure enough, it starts to write all the code.
Afterwards, I just copied the code and saved it as an html file which I then opened. Sure enough, it was pretty much a playable version on pong where you can move and all. While granted this is very simple with no sound and all, that is just amazing as it can save you so much time from doing this type of work manually and even allowing non-programmers to create applications.
I know this usually makes people worried about job security as well. But this is an example of using it as a time saving tool and opening up opportunities.
