It makes me wonder why more of us don’t think about this as whenever people see fresh fruits on sale you usually only want to buy what you can realistically consume in at timely manner. Otherwise you will end up having to throw it away which means wasted money. But how about freezing them to consume later? I see people buy frozen fruit all the time where it can be a great way to get things that aren’t in season such as blueberries in the Winter. But recently I saw a sign at the store saying how tomorrow there will be as sale strawberries where you can buy a one pound package for $2 each.
I knew someone who consumed a lot and often complains how even if there is no sale they end up spending say $5 on the same package. Like there, the person expressed they can’t stock up as it will go bad. Again though, why overlook the option of freezing the fruits? Granted it doesn’t taste exactly the same, but even in this case it could help you with maintaining a cycle of constantly have a bunch of product to the point where you can wait until something goes on sale without depriving yourself.
I actually find frozen fruit great for the summer too or if you occasionally make things such as smoothies.
