Often times during this season people will see something extra where they feel someone would just love it on top of their main present and so they buy it because the cost seems very little. For example, an extra five dollars for some kind of toy that a child would love on top of their main expensive gift. I usually only like to purchase these types of items that are usually very expensive but happens to be at a very low price because of a sale.
This was the perfect example of that where I saw these pack of four Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2’s on sale for about $24 which is incredibly low as this should list for about $80 normally. That is closer to the price of one. Sure enough, because of that price and knowing there are a lot of people who may love it for Christmas I bought it as an extra stocking stuffer gift. Even with these types of extra purchases I tend to only want to buy and gift items that are normally considered fairly high quality where it could easily be the main gift.
This is always funny when people have those Christmas events too where people have a low budget to buy gifts that will be randomly exchanged amongst people as you would usually expect people to buy things like playing cards. Imagine you then see this. The benefits of being the frugal shopper for the holidays as saving money doesn’t mean you can’t get the high end items as well.
