I have been eyeing various CPU news recently as I intended to build a new computer and AMD was at the top of my list with its new Zen 5 processors. They often release another variant called the X3D version which is what I decided to wait for. Apparently, a lot of people had the same idea as when AMD released its long-awaited Zen 5 processors the sales were absolutely terrible. There was the factor too on how big part of their growth came during all the shutdowns as everyone was looking to buy computers to work at home and that isn’t the case now. But because of the lack of sales and it potentially looking really bad for investors the theory is they will want to price the X3D chips aggressively to make the year-end numbers look good.
In fact, there may be some truth to this as it seems like they actually rushed out the release of the product that was anticipated to be released next year. Only time will tell, but these are great examples too I thought on how reading general businesses news about companies and how well they are doing can be a great way to stay frugal in your shopping as you can easily predict trends such as new items coming out or price drops.
It’s almost like graduating from simply looking for say flyers that got released early. Either way, I guess it’s a good time to potentially start shopping for these items if you are in the market for it.
