This was controversial for many where the company Duolingo appears to be embracing AI as a way to essential replace people as much as possible in order to increase productivity and growth for their product. One point they brought up as well is how they want to gradually stop utilizing contractors if the work can simply be done with the use of AI programs.
That can be a lot for this type of business as AI programs can essentially code and generate voices for lessons in these ways to which you would have to wonder why wouldn’t a business do that from the perspective of earning as much money as possible? It’s only a matter of time until more companies do this and it’s just more shocking of course for companies to flat out embrace the notion of having to hire less people.
There I already some customers saying they won’t re-subscribe because of this. At the same time, will they actually gain more to the point where it’s going to be worth it for them?
