So I will be needing to renew my passport and one thing that people need to do is to get a photo taken where there are usually a lot of places that will do it. With that said, the prices are all over the place with some business charging as much as $50 for photos and others about $10. On top of that, when you search for places nowadays you often get a mix of positive and negative reviews that can influence your decision on who to go with.
In a funny way, I found myself treating this as no different than planning which expensive computer to buy as an example and from whom. Do you find you do tat as well for low cost items like these? I know for myself it’s just a habit of always wanting the best value and service. Regardless if it is a few dollars, you should want the best for what you pay. Otherwise it’s easy to simply throw money at bad cheap services as you end up just trying more which costs you a lot of money.
In these cases you can’t do it yourself as well since it has to come from a professional commercial photographer. So much thinking though even for small things like this.
