With all the news about riots around the world one topic that came up is how many believe these are highly funded campaigns of sort where someone is paying a lot of people to create destruction due to a person ideology of sort. While that may or may not be true, it makes you think as even in many industries there Is often people that can spend a lot of money to influence how the industry proceeds while essentially sinking those who don’t want to follow their lead. In that sense, do you always go with the flow when you are starting out?
This is unfortunately one of those pick your battles I would say when it comes to trying to make a living with some kind of venture. It’s tricky enough as it is for a business to try and stay neutral such as avoiding politics. Being an industry disrupter of sort in many ways is just as challenging if you aren’t exactly in a position to survive financially by forging your own path.
In some ways it’s the same as how you can choose to climb the corporate ladder and simply abide to actions that you feel are say inappropriate. Or, you can be vocal from the start which probably won’t grant you many opportunities with how the current system. Like there, do you choose to go with the path that is likely to help you reach your financial goals where you will have a lot of supporters or would you risk losing it all at such an early stage of your career?
