Today was the last day of Cyber Monday deals week for many businesses and I was actually interested in purchasing a memory stick that looked very cheap as it will be good for basic backups. When I went into the store again it seemed like everything was unfortunately sold out. Too bad huh? But from my experience, the online stores usually have a lot and so I visited the site. Sure enough, they had plenty to order and you could get it shipped to the stores. So, I ordered a few and now I wait.
It brings up the topic too on how many people say these sales events are not as big as they used to be as people don’t see the maddening crowds like in the past. This is an example why as in so many cases it’s just more convenient to buy things online where the stores act more like a pickup point so that you don’t have to worry about guessing when it will reach your door.
It probably gives those businesses with a storefront a huge advantage too if the prices online are the same and here people have the convenience of just picking it up at the store down the block.
