I was watching a show the other day that had a company that wasn’t doing too well and one reason for it was that the owner didn’t charge his customers when he felt that the task was too easy. For example, think of it like if you were a plumber and the fix for the clog was to just pull one little string he would do the house call for free. It was interesting to see that he literally lost almost $6000 a year in income because of things like that.
I always like to think of it too as just because it is super easy for you doesn’t necessarily mean it is for others as you had to put a lot of time into your craft to be able how to recognize to do things quickly and efficiently. If you think about the reverse it’s little strange for the customer to pay you f you didn’t do anything so you shouldn’t feel weird about accepting compensation for what you think is n easy task. Usually the only exception is if you are doing it for a favour I say or if the person does so much business with you that you can pretty much survive with just them in many ways.
Not everyone has billions of dollars in their banks to be able to afford free labour like that on a consistent basis.
