Cancelling Trial Offers Right Away To Save Money

I was searching for an app to track a hike I intended to do and it seemed like a lot of them were offering free trials that required you to enter your billing information where if you decide to keep using the premium service your credit card will automatically be billed. I know so many people who simply forget to cancel if they don’t like it and end up having to pay an extra month of service they didn’t want.

That’s why it can be a good idea to always cancel these subscriptions right away when you sign up. Usually in doing so you can actually still use the premium features until the allotted time such as for the first thirty days. The main difference would be once your trial period ends it will immediately cut off and you will have to manually re-subscribe if you wish to use the premium feature. It’s a lot safer than accidentally forgetting to cancel the order. Especially if it is one of those services that auto enroll people into a yearly fee.
