There was warnings here recently of another potential Canada Post strike where at this point it seems like people have very little sympathy for the organization due to the strikes last year during the Christmas time where people viewed it as an opportunistic strategy to get a deal as it is the busiest delivery time of the year. Not only did they make everyone upset, the organization lost so much money by not doing deliveries where they are even worst of financially now.
Not much a union can do if an organization goes bankrupt I guess you can say. It makes you wonder how a normal private business would survive in these instances and if employees would actually be willing to risk say bankrupting the company in general to the point where everyone will lose their job because the customers just had enough.
Not really a thought I guess when you are simply working for someone as people just want to get paid for their work versus worrying about the company financials overall. But I think this is an example of not thinking enough of the health of the organization in general too.
