You can pretty much think of a business for anything as there is usually someone in the world that can benefit from whatever service idea you may have. One that caught my attention recently is a business that seems to be focused on providing people networking opportunities to make friends. No, not to network about business but literally meeting people who may become a friend in your life. Of course, my first reaction is aren’t these the types of things that just require you to do some kind of activity? For example, playing sports or attending a class?
I know a lot of people met their friends through school as an example. But for these businesses people were paying a pretty hefty fee to be setup in events to try and meet more people. It’s almost like a premium matchmaking business as people often pay thousands of dollars to try and find the right person to spend the rest of their lives with. I personally wonder where in this case with how much money one is spending isn’t it better to just use that money to go to ore places which would likely introduce you to a lot of people with similar interests?
But it goes to show I guess on how the business of simply connecting people to one another is very profitable for many.
