I am usually reading about the latest computer news as keeping updated with tech and hardware which can dramatically speed up productivity is always a good thing. Recently there was a new AMD processor that came out called the AMD Ryzen™ 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition Desktop Processor where surprisingly so many tech reviewers seemed to have been bypassed in regards to getting a unit for review. While initially people were assuming certain companies have been blacklisted, the other theory was the processor hasn’t been getting glowing reviews for the price you are paying. A lot of people are recommending against it. So it makes you wonder, did the company just decide not to give more people the processor with the possibility the Internet will get flooded with bad reviews?
I guess on paper that makes sense to not want so much negative publicity. As it turns out though, the negativity came regardless as people were finding ways to get units to review and now you have the company in a bad light for not supplying them to people for review in the first place. Sometimes it’s better to just be fully prepared for say the backlash with your longtime partners as everyone gets you can’t win them all. Excluding them in these cases just makes it worst as people will then ask what the company has to hide?
If anything, I’m sure their partners want them to succeed where the feedback can be valuable. Dealing with the issue is better than trying to hide.
