What a cool story this was I thought. I sometimes watch this channel called BeardMeatsFood which consists of a person who literally eats large meal challenges at restaurants at a fast rate. I guess you could call it a professional eater who has generated millions o followers. In this recent episode he was in a restaurant in Iceland and during his meal a lady who just started a YouTube channel was asking for advice. He essentially advised her to stick at it and even showed video of him subscribing to her as the 16th subscriber. She was happy and all of course.
Once the video went live and the viewers saw this in the video, naturally a lot of people were curious and looked her up themselves. This generated a massive boost to subscribers where as of writing this she now has over 30,500 subscribers and even her most recent video has been getting massive amounts of views and comments from people expressing how they arrived because of the BeardMeatsFood video.
It ’s such a great example on how when you are in that position in life you can have such a profound impact on others to the point where it may even completely change one’s life in a positive way. He didn’t even have to donate to her any out of pocket expenses as it was simply just mentioning her in his video. Now you could argue he lost money as usually people in that position could rightfully charge companies thousand of dollars to get a “shout out” per se. But it shows you how much good you can do in the world versus always trying to make a dollar on everyone.
