Always An Excuse Means It May Not Be A Fit

This was kind of sad to see as it happens too much where I was hearing a story recently of a person who desperately wanted to start a business as he felt it was his way out of an undesirable work life. So, he started off investing in the basics to get the venture going like most people do. However, like most people as well he struggled to actually follow through in actually completely various work to launch the business as each week it seems there was always a reason on why he couldn’t attend to his business.

The next thing you know, half a year literally passes by and he is still in the exact situation to the point where no one is taking him seriously. Because of that, some are suggesting running a business of this type simply isn’t for him as the motivation of money doesn’t overpower the lack of passion in general. I can’t really argue with that as most of the examples I have seen of people jumping into things purely for money doesn’t usually last very long.

It should be the other way around where you are constantly trying to find time and excuses to work on it more. I once heard someone said if you find yourself working on a project all night and didn’t even realize it’s now the next day already as an example then that is a sign on what your passion is. The money should naturally come afterwards in pursuing that passion.
