This was a sneaky advertisement that is pretty common which I saw today as a way to get people to buy impulsively. Essentially, there was a universal price drop for a particular piece of electronic and while many places advertised it as such some were labeling it as a massive sale for the week.
One of the things you should do usually I say is when you see a ton of companies all offering a particular item at a cheap price this should make you research immediately as to why. Even a simple search engine search nowadays will pretty much give you the information you need right away. Like in this case I only typed in the name of the product and all this news about how the price has been cut showed up. Simple research to prevent that impulse shopping where you assume it’s a sale that won’t happen again.
