A Winning Atmosphere And Spending

Just yesterday there was a hockey game here where Canada went against the US. As it turned out we lost the game. It was so amazing to see how dead various areas were as a result. Basically, the transit system was not congested, the restaurants weren’t packed as usual during the Olympic times, etc. That sure showed a night and day example on how business wise if your local team wins or lose it could mean the difference between making a few thousand in a couple of hours or not.

Although, I never heard of an alternative business strategy in these types of situations to try and lure customers in these types of situations. Of course, the stereotypical thing would be to assume that people would want to buy and drink a lot of alcohol if their team lost a big game. 🙂
