I was thinking today as I knew it should be the last day of a sale for a large watermelon which wasn\u2019t too bad of a price as it was only about $5. However, upon arriving in the evening it was all sold out. Instead they had these small ones for $2.50. Not as great of a deal of course but it was decent. I was really debating as the deal wasn\u2019t as good but my intention was to get a watermelon. So should I buy it? In this case I actually did.<\/p>\n
Would you think this is a bad thing financially? In some ways I think that can be a bad habit if you do it too much. I can only imagine you could end up just making random junk food purchases as an example or at the same time you end up getting things that are inferior quality wise because you don\u2019t want to feel like the trip was wasted. I am actually surprised when people do that for large purchases though.<\/p>\n
For example, one could be going to buy a specific $1000 TV just to see it sold out. Even though they semi did their research and all they then just randomly choose another one close to that price point. I couldn\u2019t imagine doing that for large purchases that I spent time researching and planning for. Either way I guess once in a while it\u2019s but it\u2019s not a good long-term financial habit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
