As it is the tax deadline here in Canada one thing I was thinking was how for receiving a refund a lot of notices were asking people to arrange for direct deposits as a way to receive things like refunds because apparently cheques will soon be phased out. As of now you can set up a direct deposit or have them mail you a cheque as normal. Just getting rid of the paper option is definitely a way to get people to switch I thought.<\/p>\n
It made me think how even for your business if you really want people to migrate to a solution that not only saves you money but is more efficient for your customers then you need to think about taking away the less effective and costly option. A lot of times people will simply stay with the old stuff out of habit. Reminds me of my parents who refused to use e-mail for the longest time but now that they do they use it all the time.<\/p>\n
In some funny way which is sometimes true it\u2019s like the saying that people don\u2019t know what they want at times so you have to tell them. I guess in this example at times you just have to force people to use it in a nice way.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
