Recently I noticed a person was rather busy on various projects where as a result he has been neglecting some personal goals. The fortunate thing was he actually had someone who was willing to help him for free where you would probably spend over $100 a month otherwise going through regular channels. The unfortunate thing it seems is because he is getting it for free whenever he asks he seems to have the mindset that it\u2019s not a priority as a result as it will always be there. So he keeps putting it off where even he realizes that\u2019s bad.<\/p>\n
Creating that sense of urgency or fear of loss can be counter intuitive in many ways when you are in a situation that seems very comfortable. Like saying why would you want to pretend you are financially poor where you need to work hard every day to put food on the table when you are a millionaire per se? Funny enough we all need that small amount of fear to keep us on track. I think one of the best ways is accountability through surrounding yourself with people who are doing or have achieved what you want. For me that can be a challenge and constant motivation to at least keep up.<\/p>\n
No one wants to be that one person who is extremely behind everyone else right? I know one person who actually spends the money in the form of a locked savings or investment where it acts like you are spending money still. That in a sense makes him treat it as if he is losing money if he doesn\u2019t do anything. In a perfect scenario your motivation should be the constant desire to be better and do bigger things. But for most we all need to somehow have that fear of loss to motivate us.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
