It\u2019s interesting too where many times owners know people will be trying to haggle down the prices and so they just make the initial price more expensive to the point where the discount they give is just the regular prices that they wanted to charge.<\/p>\n<p>Another person was telling me because of this he always refuses to pay the listed price immediately as a regular consumer for small shops.  In many ways it\u2019s almost like trying to bargain at some second hand store.  It can often make sense in places like farmers markets where the prices can be insane or at the same time people are willing to negotiate the prices.<\/p>\n<p>I do find it weird when people do this in large retail stores though where they start negotiating with the cashiers to give them a deal.
