One thing I have noticed for a lot of the Black Friday sales flyers that are out now is how it seems like many company use buzz words that only really make sense for in-store sales events. For example, I am sure most people are aware on how a lot of companies often have these limited quantity deals where people line up like days before for it. In a few instances companies dub these as a \u201cdoor crasher\u201d which makes sense with people rushing through the front doors.<\/p>\n
But I then saw the companies using that exact same term to describe its limited quantity online deals. In that sense it doesn\u2019t make sense since online shopping is more about people hitting like the refresh button every second in hopes to get the page to load up so that they can add the items to their cart. Makes me think, is there an actual need to update your buzzwords to better reflect the platforms you are using to sell stuff?<\/p>\n
I can see like here how most people will get the point anyways. At the same time I think you should update those buzzwords as I would imagine it helps the customer to better relate to the company in general. I know for more savvy consumers little details like that can be the difference between people thinking that the company is actually really knowledgeable about the space they are in versus the perception of it\u2019s a bunch of guys in suits that are just trying to sell stuff.<\/p>\n
I would imagine it would be a pretty easy adjustment as well. Of course this is assuming you didn\u2019t already spend thousands on marketing material that already has your messages on it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
