I was thinking recently as the other day I went out to dinner as I was invited to hang out with some people. I figured why not as it was the first time to get to know people better as usually when we meet it is all serious and such. I ordered some dishes and the total bill for the night was about $23. I didn\u2019t exactly break the bank or anything as you can tell but for sure in my mind that is crazy over spending for food I felt. Of course that is what would normally happen when you dine out.<\/p>\n
So today when I walked through the supermarket I saw this pair of packed fish for $3.19. There is quite a bit of meat on this too where one of this is pretty much more product in many ways than the whole dish I ordered at the restaurant. Of course it\u2019s not a direct comparison as the restaurant item is cooked and served. But it made me think how just spending so much like this in one day even with a \u201csmall\u201d amount can affect you for weeks.<\/p>\n
Based on this price too I could easily feed myself for a week or more just like when I did that food challenge before. Imagine that. One day of dining out can equal to like a whole week or more in food expense if you were to prepare everything yourself. Imagine the other things you do in life that kind of creates this exact type of circumstance which you may not think too much of initially if you are someone who always seems to be broke at the end of the day for essentials. Cause again, like here $23 doesn\u2019t sound that much in the big picture. But with this example you can do a lot with it.<\/p>\n
Just shows that if you really need to get out of a financial hole consistency is the key as it can just take one day to spoil it all.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
