Tomorrow there is supposed to be an anniversary sale for Walmart and as usual I decided to look at the flyer to see if anything would be a hot buy. While there are definitely some low priced items for things like cereal, I was thinking how nothing really exited me about the sales event. Therefore, I am inclined to not to go there to get anything as it feels like sales for items that are usually discounted where I am not missing much.<\/p>\n
That made me wonder, when you look at big sales events do you have the expectation that the sale should feel like some kind of unique and extraordinary event? Or are you simply looking for discounts where as long as the prices are cheaper than the average everyday price then that is a good store sale? I always had the thought that it needs to be items that are either heavily or rarely discounted. Otherwise to me it\u2019s not really like a holiday or anniversary sale but rather a regular weekly one.<\/p>\n
It sounds only fair that if a business is making a big deal about the sale then it should be a big deal and not average savings right? Or at minimum, some kind of content or giveaway. I personally see it as a way to gauge how serious and engaged the customer is with its customers too. Basically, a lazy big event sale that isn\u2019t really exciting or noteworthy is like a way of saying if they didn\u2019t invest that much into then nor should I.
