It would appear that the person\/organization is literally getting contact information from domain registrars as the e-mail was sent through a forwarding e-mail that I only use for DNS purposes. The only thing I can think of if this were a scam of some sort is that the person would probably offer you something really high only to have you transfer ownership details first with you getting nothing.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, it could just be really old school attempt to contact as many people as possible to see who would sell their site for a cheap price. Almost makes me want to reply to it and fake an interest to see the scheme behind this. In general, I guess they are targeting people who would blindly jump at the opportunity to make money.<\/p>\n
