This was an interesting topic I thought where I was reading about how people who don\u2019t use a car tend to shop more responsibly for things they actually need. Example, going to the grocery store and buying food to make your main meals as opposed to a ton of junk food. The reason was pretty straight forward where if you don\u2019t have the convenience of a vehicle to get things home you are going to have to carry it. Therefore, it\u2019s another factor when it comes to shopping which stops and makes you think before purchasing.<\/p>\n
Funny enough, I never really thought about that but I guess it is true. I have always tried to avoid a car whenever possible for the sake of money and health. Lifestyle wise that means I often do try and research all the places I can purchase things from that are within walking vicinity. It also forces me to research big purchases too because if I need to transfer something large like a TV then obviously that would incur a higher fee.<\/p>\n
Of course, this must be a very difficult adjustment if you have pretty much designed your current lifestyle around a vehicle dependency. Although, maybe giving up the car during casual shopping times may not be a bad idea if you are one of those people who can`t seem to stop buying junk that you don`t actually need.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
