However, trying to be frugal I wanted to make sure I am using virtually all of the product. As a result, the first few times I would open up the lid as even though there isn’t much left usually there is a lot of material on the sides. Surprisingly this worked for a few days. After that I then placed the bottle upside and so when it came time to shower more of the product would drip to the lid.

Funny enough, doing it this way I was able to use the same bottle of product for another week. I can easily see most people simply throwing the item away once it gets to the initial point where when you squeeze it there doesn’t’ t seem to be anything left. The same goes for other items like say ketchup. I think if I didn’t do this I would probably be throwing like five full bottles of these types of items each year.

I think any soap related product usually falls under this category where people often throw away the small remaining amount of products. Might not seem much, but it’s a habit that can translate to any other stuff such as throwing away pens that still have like 30% of its ink still in there. You paid for it so you may as well get everything out of it.

A few days ago I was thinking it’s probably time to buy a new bottle of shampoo as the one I am using was getting empty where when you squeeze the bottle it seemed like it was all used up.
