Extremely off topic, but I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m sure a lot of others have been hearing the news about the Pickton trial that has been going on for quite some time now here in BC. For those who don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t know, this has been dubbed as the worst serial killer case in Canadian history with the person being charged for the murder of 27 women. It is so big that they have to separate this into more than one trial. <\/p>\n
Yesterday there was a verdict and Robert Pickton was convicted for second degree murder. A lot of people felt that it should have been first degree murder. Afterwards many news channels here were showing clips to summarize the story to date including the victims and their lifestyle. <\/p>\n
It was kind of expected I thought that the person\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s defense would be to play the dumb card since it looked like there was so much evidence against him. We definitely don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t need anymore incidents like these happening here.<\/p>\n
