This was funny I thought as I was asking a friend who lived in the US on whether or not he was going to be shopping on Black Friday this year and he responded by saying \u201cIt’s called Black Thursday now\u201d as apparently so many businesses are putting up its sales a day ahead of time. There is some merit to this as I was looking at some flyers online and sure enough a lot of business are going all out on Thursday instead of Friday.<\/p>\n
He was saying too that this makes a lot of people upset as it is more clear to them that this event isn’t so much about a tradition rather than a gimmick to get people to buy stuff. I think you can kind of say that for most holiday or event shopping though. Either way, to me personally it just means a day earlier to see if there is anything worth buying that I actually need since in my mind these sales are simply a marketing tool for businesses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
