Apparently this upcoming change was well known too but it was held off for political reasons.  A part of me says I should be preparing for the changes but at the same time I can&#8217;t imagine the rates increasing so much where one would have to completely change their lifestyle to adapt to it.<\/p>\n<p>For this case specifically too I&#8217;d like to think that I already kind of use items that use less energy such as using LED light-bulbs even though the cost upfront to buy them is a lot more than other products.  So in sense it&#8217;s like I have always been preparing for it already I feel and that the only thing I can do at this point is to wait and see how much exactly the increases are going to be.
