Tomorrow apparently there is going to be a store called Marshalls launching here and a few people were telling me that they were excited to see what it was like simply based on the notion that it is a US based company. Therefore, people think because things are usually cheaper in the US that it may mean the prices in this place will be cheaper too.<\/p>\n
Usually from what I have seen the prices aren’t that much different compared to the existing businesses that are already here. For one thing, businesses usually try to simply undercut others by a small amount where if people are willing to pay the prices then they see no reason to compete with their own US prices. As well, factor in all the shipping costs to get the product there and usually it just results in a similar price point to other places.<\/p>\n
For the most part it’s all about shopping at the right dates as companies plan for certain events. Whether they are Canadian based or US based doesn’t necessarily mean things will automatically be cheaper.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
