There were some examples thrown at me today of a company that was releasing its third product in anticipation that it would sell well based om past figures. However, to their surprised the product pretty much bombed. In many ways for this example the customer reviews would have told you otherwise as opposed to to the sale numbers. For example, in this case the first product did really well sales wise and a lot of people gave it rave reviews. When it came to the second product it would appear that the hype around it was based on the reputation of the first product.<\/p>\n
So when the second item came out it still made massive sales. However, the review for it was pretty disappointing. Therefore, naturally they lost a lot of followers that way for when the third item would come out. Unfortunately for the company all they looked at was the sales numbers as the basis to whether or not their next idea would sell a lot or not. It’s always so important to get a true picture of what people think overall about your offerings in these cases I say. You can argue that the sales number is the bottom line but it doesn’t ever tell the whole story I say to give you the best idea on what you need to do next.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
