Seems like everywhere I went today you can’t but help to see some kind of news about the newly announced iPhone 5. One note that seemed to have been highlighted a lot is how the upgrades seemed to be so-so and at the same time the price of it is on par of whenever you are buying the latest and greatest. That then raised the debate on whether or not it is worth it to pay so much money for one as what one has is almost the same.<\/p>\n
This is so common when it comes to buying things like computers especially where if you are always trying to buy the latest and greatest it will require you to replace it every few months. For myself when it comes to high tech item like these I usually adopt the mentality that if I am buying things like this I shouldn’t have to upgrade for another 3 to 5 years or so. As time goes by and companies start giving minor updates to the products it just seems so much smarter to wait where at worst if you need to upgrade it to something better odds are that what is say third best now is probably still light years better than what you are currently using. The price will be lower too.<\/p>\n
The main challenge is getting through all the hype and notoriety of having the latest and greatest. I think when it comes down to it unless it is like a grocery item that spoils fast you can probably wait until the items change substantially to justify a new big purchase.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
