For those who have not seen what this is you can get some basic information at: <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/3D_printing\">http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/3D_printing<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The interesting thing was how it sounded like he was already thinking of ways to use this technology for once it becomes more mainstream where he wants to completely change his business structure right away.  That is a pretty fast decision if so I thought.  Imagine it as like you normally run a business with typewriters and when a computer is going to be introduced you planned to completely switch over to that right away.<\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t imagine that being a good idea as I&#8217;m sure like with most new technology they must be really expensive and not to mention you have to re-learn how to do things.  Makes more sense to slowly introduce it into your business in many ways doesn&#8217;t it?  I can see if it is something where it is simply a better and faster version of what you are already using, but things like this is a complete overhaul.  Imagine trying to do that as a home consumer.
