<\/p>\nWhen I got this domain service notice e-mail today at first I thought it was legitimate just by reading the subject note as a lot of domain registrars title the e-mail subject in a similar manner when your domains are expiring and require a renewal. However, upon opening I immediately knew it wasn’t. It was super easy for me to tell once I opened it as the domain they listed in question doesn’t expire until about another decade. Upon reading it the message seemed to revolve around trying to scare people that if you don’t register for it that people may have a harder time finding your site on search engines. One interesting thing is how they mention at times that this is a \u201csolicitation\u201d within this e-mail. It makes me wonder if that would even legally protect them if someone was to just assume this was legitimate and simply pulled the trigger and paid them money.
