As you know, many times when it comes to certain electronic products they become outdated fairly quickly.  What you spent $1000 to buy may only be worth $500 in a short time as there is something bigger and better.  A person was telling me that instead of trying to resell the unit as a whole, he would break down the item and sell the parts individually to get more money.<\/p>\n<p>An example was an old computer system where he found that selling parts individually such as the hard-drive and processor enabled him to earn more money.  That must take a lot of work too I was thinking.  But I suppose if done right you can make more money as long as you price it right.
