I know the people in the US have had this for awhile and I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m not sure why it took so long for it to happen here.<\/p>\n<p>For myself, I did have a three year contract with Telus Mobility before but that has since expired and having to change my number was the big reason that I didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t really go through in seriously shopping around for a better deal.  For myself, I use it a lot for business and it is printed on my cards which make it a hassle to change.  So for me this is definitely great as that will no longer be a factor.
