A lot of other people probably watched this as well and I guess it is kind of amusing at first to see full grown adults struggle over elementary school questions. They sure rub it in too by showing the contestant\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s GPA scores back in their school days. I guess the main reason for not knowing some of those questions is because people tend to specialize in a certain field after say high school and so there doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t seem to be a need to remember everything that one has learned. As they say, if you don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t use it you lose it.<\/p>\n
Some questions I couldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t believe that a person couldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t answer such as \u00e2\u20ac\u0153what country has the longest border with the U.S.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d How in the world does one even think Mexico over Canada? That is almost like not knowing if normally a whale or a fish is bigger. The interesting thing I thought too was how in the show one can choose any order in which to answer the questions and the contestants tend to go with the lower grade ones first. While that would make sense initially, since you only have the kid\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s help for three times I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m surprised no one goes for the hardest questions first while they still have help as they would probably have better luck answering the easier questions by themselves than the difficult ones.<\/p>\n
I wonder how long this show will last as it seems like a fun idea, but the novelty seems like it can wear off faster with this show for some reason.<\/p>\n
