Right from the beginning everyone was called to the boardroom where Trump announced that three more people would get fired. To start off one person would get fired right there and then as everyone had to say their piece on why they should stay. As well, Trump placed everyone on the spot by asking who should be fired. It appeared that most people said Maria was the weakest player mostly due to maturity and ethics it seems.

There was one particular part where she mention that Curtis was arrogant and then threw in a comment on how he went into a room and freely let some gas loose which was suppose to demonstrate arrogance in her view. Trump then appeared to have found that a bit silly and gross and commented how this was a boardroom and not a locker room. As a result, Maria was fired.

The next phase was an interview process like we have seen before. The two interviewers were going to be Bill Rancic and Joan Rivers. Curtis was up first and he didn’t make too big of a splash. Bill was able to get him to say that one reason he was on the show was to indeed raise his celebrity status. Sharon was up next it was interesting. There was one part where she was saying she thought that if she started a charity before everyone would just come flocking to give it money with her celebrity status and all. Then she broke down in tears saying how that hasn’t been the case as no one seemed to care as it wasn’t like a “sexy” thing. Therefore, she really wanted to raise awareness about it through the show.

Bret Michaels seemed to be very mellow while at the same time gave very strong and direct answers. Similarly, Holly seemed pretty solid as well. At the boardroom Trump was saying how Curtis was labeled as a one trick pony. That seemed to be the nail in the coffin as he was the first to get fired. Sharon seemed to be an emotional wreck which kind of fitted in with the comments on how the interviewers thought she had no energy left. Even though she wanted it badly for the exposure in the end Trump determined that she didn’t have much gas left compared to the others and so she was fired. That made Bret and Holly the finalists.

For the finale task Holly and Bret had to work with the company Snapple and create a brand new Snapple Tea flavor. As well, they would have to create a new television and print ad for the product. They would then launch this at an event filled with Snapple employees, distributors as well as consumers. The teams would be judged on creativity, originality, incorporating the team’s charity message while still maintaining the essence of the Snapple brand. The CEO of the company also stated that this tea flavor that they invent will actually be sold across the country with some of the funds being allocated to the person’s charity. Pretty big I must say.

For the team helpers it seemed like Trump self selected people that were previously fired as oppose to the project managers choosing them like in the past. Bret got Summer and Darryl while Holly got Maria and Curtis. While trying to invent the drink both teams got to work with a Snapple scientist and the thing was the teams had to negotiate which flavors they could use as obviously you don’t want the two teams to have the same drinks. The one flavor that was on the top list for both teams was passion fruit.

While you would expect the two project managers to do the negotiation Holly instead sent Curtis as the logic was he has worked with Bret a lot and therefore knows him better to do a negotiation. In the negotiation Curtis bluffed a bit by claiming that everything Bret wanted he wanted as well. I was surprised that Bret gave up the Passion fruit so easily as he just mentioned he didn’t want to stay there all day. So in the end Holly got all the ingredients that she wanted.

Bret Michael’s creation in the end was a pear plum nutty and a “Troperocka” which is what the name sounded like. Darryl then went out with a few samples to do get some taste testing with the public. Holly’s first flavor was Compassion berry and the other was the same except with basil. It seemed like the public really did not like the pear plum drink.

Afterwards, the teams had to try and shoot their commercials under a tight time frame. Bret went a little more daring as he attempted to shoot two commercials. The episode pretty much ended with Holly’s team looking like they finished while Bret’s team was scrambling to have even begun yet. Looks like the final episode is next.

Well this episode started with an immediate twist.
