So today is mother\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s day and a funny thing happened where my mom was telling me that she tried to clean this electric can opener that is well over a decade old and it just happened that the top rim fell off. Therefore, she said that a good mother\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s day gift would be to get her a new one. Interestingly enough I was able to just snap the part back in and it worked again. However, I still ended up buying a more modern day one since the other one looked extremely worn out and figured she wanted it anyways.<\/p>\n
Usually I would say if it still works then keep it. In this case the item just seemed so worn out that I wouldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be surprised if it could start accumulating things like bacteria easier. Therefore, I guess that was more of a reason to replace a product where spending a few dollars can be better in the long run. Would be like sitting in a wobbling worn out chair that hurts your back. Sure you can still sit on it, but the money aspect isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t worth sacrificing your well being.<\/p>\n
