{"id":215,"date":"2007-02-20T08:39:44","date_gmt":"2007-02-20T16:39:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/al6400.com\/blog\/2007\/02\/20\/chinglish-talk-about-lost-in-translation\/"},"modified":"2007-09-03T12:51:03","modified_gmt":"2007-09-03T19:51:03","slug":"chinglish-talk-about-lost-in-translation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.al6400.com\/blog\/chinglish-talk-about-lost-in-translation\/","title":{"rendered":"Chinglish &#8211; Talk About Lost In Translation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the 2008 Olympic Games being held in Beijing, the local news here showed an interesting report on how so many people and companies in China use what they call \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Chinglish\u00e2\u20ac\u009d which is basically words that have been translated from Chinese to English that are incredibly broken grammatically or that it hasn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t been translated properly.
