In times like that it is one of those thing where it can be wiser to instead invest your time in trying to teach yourself how to do it. Example, like in that case you could probably pay an enthusiast like $800 to teach you how to do it and then spend the money yourself on the part. Same thing with other things like computers as I always find it amazing when people charge say $150 alone to replace something simply like the memory.
