Okay, this was kind of strange. I was registering a domain for a person as they didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t know how to setup a site. Apparently, now some companies are offering visitors the ability to monetize parked domains by paying them a fee. Essentially, you would pay them like $10\/month where your domain would display all these ads. When people click on them you get paid.<\/p>\n
On the surface level I can see why it would make sense for some people as many purchase domains without doing anything with them. But for like $10\/month? May as well just buy a web hosting package and make a one page site I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122d say. I wouldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be surprised if you got undercut too with plans like those where you have no idea how much they are making off your domain.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
