It’s probably common for a lot of people that when somebody needs advice when it comes to hiring someone for a job or where to buy a certain product, they often rely on their friends to tell them who’s best to potentially give them not only the best value but the best work. And what got me thinking was how I was reading a review for a business that I worked with a long time ago, actually, and it seemed okay for the service they provided. It seemed really good at the time, but I know after they had all the shutdowns, for example, over the past few years, a lot of people adjusted their businesses and some people just fell behind and never updated. <\/p>\n
So, what happened was I was reading some reviews for that business and a lot of people were complaining that it didn’t seem like the owner or the business really updated their offerings, and they felt that a lot of the advice was basically invalid nowadays to the point where it’s not recommended. And it was kind of shocking because you started to read a lot of comments from people who went to that business in the past and swore it was actually great. It was one of the best in town. However, they admit they haven’t been there for years, so maybe things have changed, and that’s something to think about. When you read a lot of positive reviews, or even when people you know give you recommendations, it’s important to know when the last time was that they actually did business with those companies or that person, because so much can change in just a few years.<\/p>\n
For example, there are some businesses that could have a completely new management, and that will change everything. It can turn a really good customer-service-oriented business into a disaster if they just focus on, for example, profits versus really taking care of people. So that’s something to think about when it comes to actually evaluating whether or not you can recommend certain businesses, as well as you need to tell them when the last time was you actually got services from them, because one thing you don’t want to do is recommend services to people that just don’t meet their needs, and it’ll end up hurting your reputation as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
