I always enjoy watching the show Shark Tank, and this episode I was watching had Mr Beast in it, which was kind of entertaining because, as you know, he’s known for making very over-the-top games online in terms of a show where people try to win money. You’d have to wonder what he was going to do here, and for the most part, he seemed pretty casual. But there was one part that was interesting: someone was asking for money, and he just decided to give it to him with zero percent in the company. Of course, the guy took the offer, and he was even wondering if he should actually be able to do that. I guess the panel was just saying, yeah, he could now, for example. And it made me think: when you’re in a position with a lot of money where you can actually help people, should you always have, let’s just say, a business mentality?<\/p>\n
Because I know Kevin O’Leary is more disciplined \u2014 it doesn’t matter how nice the story sounds, he just wants to make a profit. Whereas Mr Beast is just as rich and successful, but he has more of a human approach to it: if he likes something, he’s going to potentially invest in it or give money to the person.<\/p>\n
I think for myself, if I really had that much money, I would be inclined to be generous like that as well. But at the same time, you don’t want to do it too much, otherwise you could eventually go bankrupt. I know there was one example where he invested in a ball company that was using AI, where they asked for basically majority control \u2014 so that kind of shows you that they do have a business mindset for a lot of this stuff.<\/p>\n
It makes you wonder, what would you do if you were in a position where you had, let’s just say, millions or billions of dollars? Do you think the way to go from then on is to always be disciplined like Kevin O’Leary, or would you be like MrBeast, throwing money here and there trying to make a difference in people’s lives as well?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
