This got me thinking today as I will be working on a film project and usually these types of work require payroll companies to make sure they have all the necessary residency information for tax purposes which in itself is fine. But in this industry you can end up working for different productions who all require the same information but use different companies to manage the payroll. As you can imagine, this means sending virtually the same stuff over and over again to the point where you have to wonder how much money these productions could save if there was just a standard system of sort.<\/p>\n
Imagine for a traditional company where instead of having a universal database for your employees where you can pull up the records on demand regardless of which store they work in for the day they would need to provide all the information again to each store. Sounds every inefficient right? But that\u2019s kind of how it is. In some ways, it seems like people are just so used to it that they figure no point in trying something new that requires learning a new system.<\/p>\n
But I think most companies would save a lot of time and money if they try and minimize the paperwork and data entry in these cases.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
