This year I have been researching a lot about AI productivity software and not surprisingly a lot of them have monthly fees. While I have a few monthly subscriptions for design tools I was thinking how this is a financial death trap if you aren\u2019t careful as you can simply sign up for all these services as they sound cheap for a month only for it to all hit you at the end of the year. It\u2019s like signing up for too many streaming services where that $10 a month sounds cheap until you add say five to ten networks.<\/p>\n
This is why for subscriptions like these I often discipline myself by not signing up for services if they do something similar to what I have unless my current service is expiring. This really forces me to use what I have and to really determine if the other option is better. If so, I cancel it and sign up for the new service. Unless you are explicitly getting things to run a daily business operation where it is a required expense, if you are trying things out or to potentially just make things better then you really do need to control how many services you subscribe to. Even those free trials can end up costing you if you forget to cancel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
