For myself it has been definitely true where for a lot of things you learn in school a lot of these lessons aren\u2019t actually important I the real when it comes to say landing jobs and opportunities. For example, many people come out with these four year degrees only to struggle in getting hired. A common scenario afterwards is people go speak to the people who are doing exactly what they are doing where they advise them to forget everything and then focus on other things such as networking with the right people as often it\u2019s not about your skills but rather who you know.<\/p>\n
It reminds me of what a professional chef told me where whenever he got people that graduated from some fancy culinary school they didn\u2019t really have any of the skills to actually work in real kitchens and doing basic prep work seemed beneath them in their views. Like there, the chef would often advise people to throw away all that fancy text and just get in a kitchen to start familiarizing themselves with the attitude and communication skills necessary to service in a kitchen. <\/p>\n
Education is important, but that should make you think if what you are learning is truly what you need in the real world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
